Hi,
Can i have Central Instance on windows and Database Instance on AIX ? As per my knowledge we should have both CI and DI on same platform.

You need to have CI and DB on the same OS. You can refer to service.sap.com/platforms (mixed SAP environments) for support information. Also look at note 680617.
