Hi everyone,
I want that another programmer coulddeploy on my local J2EE WAS.
So I specified in NWDS my computer name and the port but it doesn't work.
Besides, I cannot display from his computer an HTML page that is on my WAS like http://myserver:50000/index.html which of course works if I want to display it from my local machine.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
hi david,
if you are able to ping by hostname ..try with FQDN (fully qualified domain name i.e. <hostname>+domainname Ex:abcd.xyz.com:50000/
if it doest work check...os settings including firewall..Antivirus...etc

raghu

Hi!
Is the programmer in an another network, if not the firewall isn`t the cause of this error.
Can you ping the IP and the host name?

Hello,
you can Check Firewall-Settings if there is one active.
Check the icf and have a look in the Systemlog.

Hi,
can you ping your computer from that computer using your computer name? Maybe there's only problem with hosts file on that machine - try to add line:
your_compuer_name ip
If you have already done it, i have no idea why deploying doesn't work.
