Problem connecting to R/3 Through ITS

Hi,

I am trying to connect to R/3 system through ITS.

And i am getting the following error.

Invalid Service

You have specified an invalid service. The service name was webgui.

Please help me.

I followed the following steps to do so:

Firstly i created a R/3 dedicated system, specifying the R/3 properties in Connector Property Category

Application host

SAP Client

SAP System Name

SAP System Number

Server Port

I specified ITS Properties in ITS Property Category

ITS Host Name

ITS Path

ITS Protocol

1) are you able to connect to your ITS standalone in a browser (http://<your ITS>:<port>/scripts/wgate/webgui/!)

2) is webgui even installed on your ITS?

3) which entries do you have in: ITS path, ITS host?

4) have you created an ITS iView with this defined dedicated R/3 system?

Hi Achim,

Thanx for responding...Actually the problem was with webgui service on ITS.This service was not started previously.Now we started the service.And I'm able to connect to R3 through ITS...
