Integration Builder in German, not English

Former Member

We have three different XI installations running, all 3.0 SP16. In one of these installation, the Integration Builder is always in German instead of English. All language settings are set to EN. The other two installations don't behave like this and are in English.

Does anybody have an idea what causes this and how it can be resolved?

Hi,

Have you checked your browser settings? Usually the language is only determined there.

So in case of IE go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Languages; add (or move) english to the top and restart all browser sessions.

Afterwards the standard as well as RWB should be in english.

Kind Regards,

Steffen

Yes, I checked these as well. The browser settings are set to English. Note that it's only one system on which this issue presents itself. All other systems are in English.

Hi Jeuken,

Go to Exchange Profile

http://host:<J2EEPort>/exchangeProfile/index.html

Choose Integration Builder and it's sub...

Check the language parameters and check if it is EN. If not change and save it.

Then Stop and Start SLD server alone.

http://host:<J2EEPort>/sld/admin/index.jsp

Check in SU01 too.

Hope this provides you a solution.

Regards.

All language settings are set to EN, both in the Integration Builder and in the exchangeProfile. This does not seem to be the problem. Also, somebody else solved it by updating to SPS18, but this is not an option for us at the moment.

Hi Jeuken,

To add with others, close the IR and ID. When you log in to IR or ID giving your user name, password make sure the Language is selected to English and not German.

Okay, that's a very basic answer. I think we got that covered. Everything is set to EN (in the exchangeprofile and during logon and in the applications). The language is still German though. That's the problem.

To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing stated in the post installation with regards to the language of the Integration Builder. Do you mean anything specific?

Hi,

Check the language setting in Exchange Profile. There are parameters for language for each and every component.

Thanks,

Prakash

Hi,

Adding to prakash's reply.

http://hostname:port/exchangeProfile/index.html

Go to Integration Builder--> you will find many properties with LANGUAGE. Set it to EN.
