Pass data between different tab strips

Hi everybody,

I have the following problem: In my model I have different tab strips defined. Now I want to pass one value from a tab strip to another tab strip. The field on both tab strips are called the same.

I add a signal out to a output form on the first tab strip and a signal in to a input form on the second tab strip.

On one layer there is now and out point and on the other one an in point. I connected both but no value is passed to the field of the other tab strip.

Do you have an idea?

Hi Berthold,

Why are you using eventing for this? You should be able to pass all the data you need natively within the VC just by dragging and dropping a link? Are you using embedded iViews or something like that?

Hi

Since you are using a single iview with layers, the value in the first tab is available to all other tabs as a variable all you have to do is reference it in the field.
