Hi,

I am trying to configure ADS, but I get an ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED when testing the connection in SM59. My settings in SM59 look something like this:

RFC Destination ADS

Connection Type G HTTP Connection to External Serv

...

Target Host ip-adress

Service No. 40

Path Prefix /AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=rpc

Any suggestions what is wrong?

/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=rpc works fine when testing through my browser.

Thanks.

/Elvez

Hi,

You will get this error when you enter either wrong Target host or wrong service number.

You have to enter the IP Address and Port of the Server where your ADS is running.

In my case, I entered Portal IP address (999.999.999.99) and then the Port number (50100) where ADS is running.

So enter the server IP address and Port number that you want to use to render ADS services.

Thanks,

Ramakrishna

Hi,

I mistakenly assumed that the Service No. was calculated (50000 + 100 * Service No.), but found out that you have to write the entire port number to make it work (for example 50100).
