Import Batch processing.

Hi,

Plz let me know the mandatory fields while creating a .ini file. When i am am scheduling a task it gives messege that Job could not be started. What may be the reasons ?

All destinaton information is mandatory:

[Destination]

Repository=

Server=

Port=

User=admin

Password=

ClientSystem=

Map=

Language=

Source values are dependent on its type:

[Source]

Type=

XML Schema=

File name=

DSN=

DBMS Server=

Database=

User=

Password=

Type itself is mandatory such as xml, Excel, ODBC.. If you are doing it from an Excel or XML full path file name is required fields.

Thanks for the input But i still hv some queries

DSN = ?

DBMS Server = Shall we mention MDM server IP address here

Database = ORCL for Oracle.

Hi anand!

if the source type is an excel/xml/sml schema or any file typeyou can omit

DSN ,DBMS Server, Database

If you use a sql schema, oracle you should mention the DDMS server and data base

If you use a ODBC you should mention the DSN
