BC-Adapter. Need proxy settings?

Hi,

i work on a idoc-scenario SAP -> XI -> BC ...

In the RWB i got an error "Unknown Network".

I think, this could be a proxy-problem, but in the bc-adapter i cannot find any settings to use a proxy?

How can i solve this?

Regards,

Bernd

just a thought;

As far as BC adapter is configured you cannot use proxy. But HTTPs connection is supported.

Sap Note - 774854 (Is it possible to use a HTTP proxy for the HTTP/S communication?)

816022 - > Question 19

Also, in case there is a proxy in the network, cant there be any way to bypass it (some setting on the proxy server) ?

Hi Bernd,

Correct me if I am wrong!

You can only send RFCs to the XI BC and not IDOCs.

May be you can try via HTTP adapter.

Hi Praveen,

since SP17 you can send with the protocol "IDoc-XML" to the BC, but the message-protocol is not the problem, because the transport protocol is in both cases http.

The walk thru XI is perfect, only the very last step, the ending to BC won't work.

Hi Bernd,

I have mailed you a document which will help you to configure the Routing Rule for communication with Adapter Engine, Sender & Receiver Adapter for SAP BC.

Hope the document provides you a solution.

Regards.
