More than one repository in Content Server

Former Member

Hello everybody

We have installed a Content Server to store the invoices (PDF format). We have used the archivelink.

Now we want to use the same method to store another kind of documents.

Is it possible to create another repository using the same Document Area (ARCHLINK)?

If so, is it possible to create another instance in the SAPDB and create there the new repository?

Thank you in advanced.

Kind regards.

Hello

Firs you have to install the SAPDB and after that the Content Server.

Then you have to custimize your R/3.

This are the transaction used to configure the archivelink:

- CSADMIN : Content Server Administration

- OAC2 : Global Document Types

- OAC3 : Links for Content Repositories

- OAC5 : Settings for the Bar Code Entry

- OAA3 : Communications Interface Administration

Hope this help you (it's not too much, but the step by step guide is quite long)

Kind regards.

Hi Rubén,

Could you give me some details on how you set up the archiving process please?

We have set up a condition record to create an output that is to be sent to a printer with device type ARCHUTF8 but the print program fails due to missing fonts for this printer type. Therefore, no output is created so nothing can be archived. We are trying to archive PDF files of the invoice printouts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Steve.
