Stop a running BPM instance

Former Member

Hi All,

I tried a BPM with 2 receive steps(to understand corelation). Accidentally, I sent a wrong msg to receive1 which has no corresponding msg for receive2. So this BPM instance is running waiting for its corresponding second msg(which is never going to come). Now how can I stop this BPM instance? Will the BPM instance stop itself automatically after waiting a particular amount of time?

Thanks & Regards,

Jai Shankar.

Hi Jai,

Go to the transactionSWWL and kill the Process.

Alternatively, you can look into Michal's Blog on how BPM can be stopped:-

Hi Praveen,

I checked the SWWL transaction, In Task field, I selected my BPM name and tried to execute. It dint show any entries and in SXMB_MONI, I still see my msg with a clock symbol( msg being sent).

Thanks & Regards,

Jai Shankar.

Shabz,

I tried it. I am not seeing any entries. I tried deleting the IP from ID and reimported the IP with same name. Still the same clock symbol. What am I missing here?

Thanks & Regards,

Jai Shankar.

Dear Jai,

1) You can try Transaction SWWL or SWWD.

2) you can delete the BPM from ID too and reimport there with the same name.
