VC Areas ?

Hello aLL,

How r u ?

Currently I am into BW and just started learning VC. I have few questions like

1. like in BW we have

-Modelling

-Extraction

-Reporting, etc. likewise what would be the structure for VC ?

*This will help me to sort out the materials and links.

2. To start with VC what are all the documents & links are available ?

3. We have installed VC and we could see the storyboard. but the source systems are not shown !? even after connecting to our portal the source systems are not shown. any ideas ?

Welcome to the world of VC.

ad 1) VC is a pure prcess and UI tool. It does not extract data; i you have more specific questions, feel free to post for each question a separate posting (don't forget to read the documentation first or search the SDN. There is already a lot of material out there. End of October there will also be a VC book available)

If you have a service marketplace ID there is a ton of fantastic tutorials on the RKT website as well.

How ya doin ?

I do have a Market Place ID and I checked the Ramp-Up KT page, but do they charge for the KT ? or how I should register for that ?

I do not think they charge for this outside of what you already pay for an ID.
