Hi All,

I know this could be bothering for all you experts in posting such a message here. But I could not solve my problem and I am going to give the US partners a XI Demo in English next week.

I have English languages setting for XI-IR, ID and so on but only in Runtime Workbench I have got German language, I don't know why and how to set this in English.

Could anyone of you give me a hint please?

Thank you very much.

Jing

Hi Jing,

the runtime workbench is the only component that loads the properties of your browser to choose the language in which labels have to be displayed. It's different from ID and IR, they use the logon language.

Please make sure that under Internet Options -> General -> Languages you have english as the first (and only) language.

Then close your browser and check againg.

Kind Regards,

Sergio

Yes, I am 100% sure the language settings of IE is English, and is the only one. Still it does not work. All the labels are in German.

Please help.

Hi Jing,

Go to Exchange Profile

http://host:<J2EEPort>/exchangeProfile/index.html

choose Runtime Work Bench Tree and the parameter

<b>com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.language</b>

check if it is EN.If not change and save it.

Then Stop and start SLD server alone.

http://host:<J2EEPort>/sld/admin/index.jsp

Also in SU01 check is there a way to specify the language of XIRWBUSER.

Hi Jing,

you have to adjust the settings of internet explorer:

options->general->languages and select the language you desire

Hi Sergio,

sorry, it doesn't work. If IE were set on other language, I should not see IR, ID in English, but the fact is all the other applications are in english except Runtime workbench.

Any ideas?

Best regards

Hi Jing,

I am not sure, may be something related to the import of language support package or may be related to code page.

Check with your basis administrator.

Regards.
