Hello Experts,
We have a scenario in which the display/listing of BPs should be based on a particular relationship of the BP with the current user.
Meaning, Only if the logging in user is 'related to' one or few BPs in the system, those are the only BPs that could be edited/viewed by the user logging in.
Typical practical scenario is a Service Manager of the Customer's organisation logs in and views/updates the list of Service Technicians of their own organisations. ...Pls help ..Thanks
Hi,
You can use authorization for this purpose. For this you can use B_BUPA_ATT and give authorization only for sy-uname.This authorization object is checked in BP transaction.
Thanks and warm regards,
Smita.

This is not my idea. But I heard people talking about the personailization object
BUPA_DIALOG_JOEL
Please check with it once.

Hi,
this sounds like a CRM system. There you can use the CRM-ACE (access control engine) to restrict the access to business partners.
Kind regards
Rainer
