nwds-instalation problem

hello friends,

i installed webdynpro in my client. i have given hostname & portnumber

after that j2ee enginee is not active.

i give hostname as myhostname & portnumber is 3600.

it not connected.

if i give portnumber is 50000 the error is coming like "the message server did not respond.

give me the solution.

and one more thing is while installing nwds i gave local j2sdk path.

Hi

Go to

http://<Server>:<port>/index.html

click the System Information

login to the page

You can see the Message Server port there

Hi Surekha,

Installed WebDynpro means, is it IDE?

If you have access to the System Information, get it from Message Server.

Usually, port number can't be 50000. I may be 3610,3900,3600.

use this link http://hostname:50100/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

you get information of message server, enqueserver, etc.
