Time out when installing new liscense

Hello,

I tried to install the license for the NW2004S Trial Edition. I used the transaction slicense and it always gives me a Time Out runtime error and refused to continue after I entered all the relevant information. I tried to run slicense.exe directly under cmd, but I could not find a directory called C:/BSP (I installed in 😧 drive and there is no D:/BSP as well). Is there anyway I could get the license installed? Thanks a lot!

Regards,

Anyi

Hi Anyi,

You must login to the server where Sneak preview was installed as user - nspadm and start the sap mmc console with this user name (and password You gave),

after the system starts you will have to login to the system and goto transaction slicense and put in the license details which you were given from sap.

Hi Anyl,

You can check if dumps are created in ST22 for every TIME-OUT error and identify the nature of these dumps.

Alternatively, on OS level try to locate saplicense.exe and install your license through this command.
