XI HTTP Server not working

Hi,

I am having trouble to set up the HTTP connection to the integration engine

(something like:

http://sapxi:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry )

I tried both variants from the help docs:

Via sxmb_adm as http-server (Load froom SLD) or

SM59 connection type H.

Whatever I am doing, I'll get an "http 404: not found"

( Netweaver2004s and SP9)

Any ideas welcome and awarded...

this connection uses HTTP port 8XXX

and not j2ee 5XX00

go to SMICM (go to - services) and find HTTP port and put it inside

SLD (business system of XI)

Hi Holger,

Refer to your Business System for XI under SLD. Also check the pipeline URL. http://server:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

You can find the http port using transaction SMICM (GoTo-->Services)
