Hi Gurus,

We are working with EP 7.0(ESS mysaperp).

We want to enhance the Working time --> Record working time application in ESS.

We want to add another CAP (Context assistance pattern to the application).

We did not find any FPM application for ess~cat in Self Service Administrator.

Do we have any possibility to modify this application?

Also when we have opened Self Service administrator we were not able to create FPM application. We are able to open the iview for that and when we enter the required attributes and say next we get the error message as "An internal error occured: String index out of range: -4".

Also when we try to open the fpm application object in SSA we get exception as

500 Internal Server Error

Web Dynpro Container/SAP J2EE Engine/6.40

Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.

Hi,

Yes it is possible to modify this application. You should install and configure NWDI. Configure a track and import it into Netweaver Developer Studio. Then import the ess~cat Development Componenent into Netweaver Developer Studio. You'll notice it's a Web Dynpro application. You can add new CAPs in the interface of component CcCatRecord.

Concerning the NullpointerException: please post the stacktrace. Also don't forget to configure CAT in the SAP backend.
