Adapter Module Processing

I have a file to file scenario. The incoming file contains Employee Details and I need to validate each record and need to reject them if they are invalid as per the business rules.

For this I know I need to create the Adapter Module Processing.

I have never done an Adapter Module Processing. Would some one guide me what should I do for the above process.

Again I would appreciate if it is a step by step process. if you have any screen shots please send it to

Yes you would need NWDS.

You can download it from sdn.

Can you provide me the Link please. I went into the Dowanload section of this forum and searched for NWDS, I see various Technical information for NWDS and not the installation guide or NWDS .exe

Support Packages and Patches > SAP NetWeaver> SAP NETWEAVER>SAP NETWEAVER 04>Entry by Component-->Developer Studio

Select SAP NW DEVELOPER STUDIO (appropriate version)

an adapter module

all you need to do is to add your rule

(remove some lines etc)
