Hi,
We are authoring our power users in production. We would like to know what are the Pros/Cons permitting super users to create queries on the Production system. Moreover i would also like to mention that:
No of Power Users = 25
The data in QA or dev is very less, as a results users find difficulty to validate their queries unless transported to the Production.
Would you be kind enough to provide us valuable suggestion.
Kind Regards
Noor
Hi Noor!
I would allow changes in production. Just spend more time in user training and especially show them, how to abort a 'wrong' version ('stop transaction' in window context menu).
Even with tested programs you can make a mess in production, so I expect better results of well-trained users.
Regards,
Christian

Hi Noor,
from my point of view, it would be a better option to rethink your QA system - what's it for if not for the tests that you now plan to do in the prod system.
My recommendation is to fill QA with data so that your colleagues can do their tests.
Otherwise you might be held responsible if there are issues in the P system...
Kind regards,
Carl
