MI Client Upgrade Problem (PPC)

Hi all

I have installed MI 2.5 sp13 in my Pocket PC.

I am currently trying to upgrade it to sp 16, till sp14 upgrade MI client was installing the Addon but when i downloaded the sp 15 it got downloaded but was not installed.What could be the problem?

I tried soft reset on the PPC but still no use.

Does SAP provide a full version for MI SP16 i could find only MI SP13 as full version.If SP16 is available does it need extra authorization for downloading it.

Hi Gopi,

Can you give some more details regarding the problem? Are there any errors in the trace file?

Yes SAP does ship the entire SP16. It can be found in the Service Market Place. For SP16 the file name is NWMCLIENT16_0-10002889.sca. When you extract this using an unarchiving tool you will find setup.exe and the MI install cab file.

It requires the same authorization as downloading the patches nothing extra.

Winzip or Winrar will do the trick.
