notification of unviewed mails at logon

I want to know in where I must configure the incoming message (workplace), it means that appear a pop up notifying that arrive an email. In one system it works but in other not. So I want to know if I must configure this in some place?

I did configured in T-Code:S016 but still users are not receving the pop up notifying.

The box in SO16 is unchecked, correct?

sorry, don't know. Notifications of course only appear at logon, not if user is already logged on, and only if the document is unread.
