PO update for an already-confirmed PO ? (I want to avoid this :-()

Hi guys,

I have a big problem and I dont have a clue about how to solve it:

The problem is:

1. The purchaser creates a PO in SRM (Example: 10 computers)

2. The PO is replicated to R3 succesfuly

3. A Confirmation doc. is created in R3 only for 8 computers

4. The purchaser modify the PO in SRM, he change to 5 units. In theory, SRM should not permit to do this because the document has a confirmation created. It should permit the modification to 8, but not for 3 or 4, etc.

note: Im using SRM 4.0 sp8 with ECS

Do you know how can I solve this ? I checked the "Control Messages" transaction but I can not identify any useful message for this.

Thanks for your help guys!!!

Regards from Mexico,

Diego

Hello Diego,

How about the check BADI when changing the PO. Implement the check logic already confirmed quantity.

Hi Masa,

So.. it is not included in the Standard ? Because R3 (in standard) does not permit to do this. So, I need to develop something to accomplish this ?

Thank you !

Diego

Hello Diego,

I do not have system access at a moment. Did you run BBP_GET_STATUS_2? If it looks a bug please create an OSS message.

Masa

Hi Diego,

I am working with SRM50 and ECC60 systems.

ECS Confirmed PO with final delivery flag can be changed and ordered if you increase the quantity.

The backend PO is updated and confirmation for the delta quantity is enabled.

Statistics in the SRM po is updated and final delivery flag is set again.

If i try to decrease the quantity of a confirmed PO, i get an error message !

Thus, you have a bug in your system.

Kind regards,

Yann
