Is the Timed Trigger UI like a WAS deamon?

Hello:

I have a doubt, suppose I have my application that at certain amount of time runs a "X" batch process, if I do it with webdynpro and Timed Trigger UI...

do I need the client request? or just the fact of being the app, at the server, up and started the time trigger takes action?

at:

http://host:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwdtools/Explorer

Is where I can se If the app is started.

Thanks a lot.

Hi RLS,

Timed Trigger UI is UI element. It means it appears on the screeen. So, you definetely need a client request. Check my blogs about how to rum timer driven services in WAS:
