Plug-in for Plan Driven Procurement

Hi,

just one question.

In a plan drive procurement scenarious, with the following components:

- Sap R/3 Rel 4.6C

- SRM 4.00

I think i have some problem using the following version of Plug-in.

- Plug-in 2003_1_46C

Reading the SAP Master Guide it seems that i can use that version, because following version (2004) is suggested, but only optionaly.

Reading configuration guide, the 2004 version of Plug-in is mandatory.

Have you some experiences about it?

Dear Simone,

we had faced the same problem for Plug in is conern .

Actually the Plug in for R3 and SRM version should be same.

We were having the following setup at my previous implementation -

In SRM component

release Patch level

SAP_BASIS 640 14

SAP_ABA 640 14

SAP_BW 350 14

SRM_SERVER 5.0 SAPKIBS08

Plug In 2005 1 640 Level -0005

IN R3

Plug In 2003 1 620 Level – 0005

Just check the Plug in or post on oss message.

Just another question:

We have exactly the same configuration, but

in my configuration i have not Plug-in SRM.

In your opinion this fact coulb be so relevant?

Hi Plug in is important factor we had the same problem in our previous SRM implemetation and we lost around 2 weeks utlimately OSS replied and we could sort out the problem,

For validating the message kindly post an OSS and check the Plug in It hs to be installed on SRM also.

First check with the Basis Team and get the Plug in installed as per the Master guide,

Sorry but i need to make you another question before to post the OSS note, to be sure:

-Have you installed on SRM a Plug-in 2005 in order to can mantain, in your configuration, the 2003 version of Plug-in on R/3?

So you suggest me to do the same think.

-Can you suggest me the OSS number that you have posted?
