Here is SAP guidelines for Securing SAP* user against misuse.

According to this, you will have to create new super user & deactivate the current SAP*

If u want to change SAP* password means goto SU01 and delete the SAP* and login as a SAP* user id with password PASS.

Try to login as a SAP* user id and create your own user id and provide

SAP_ALL

SAP_NEW

profiles and logoff from SAP* and login as u r user id

Hi Bala,

I don't know what DB or OS you have but you need to delete sap* from tables usr01 and usr02, after that just login as SAP* and passwors "pass"

The line for oracle/SunOS is something like, delete from sapr3.usr02 where mandt='XXX' and bname='SAP*'

Maybe you can try to logon as DDIC and reset SAP* password.

Logon to your database with orasid(if oracle) as user id and run this sql

delete from sapSID.usr02 where bname='SAP*' and mandt='XXX';

commit;

where SID is your DBSID and XXX is the client.

Actually we have to do that in database level.

like running the query to deleted the user id SAP*

FYI.. SAP* won't be available in user master data.
