No problem Jacob.

FYI - I was just playing around in the Playpen forum and I think you can't assign points for topics that are not posted as questions.

Hi Jacob,

I edited your original post to check the box under the message field indicating that this was a question. Then, I awarded some points on your behalf, but feel free to increase them!

See: /people/mark.finnern/blog/2004/08/10/spread-the-love for directions.

Click on the Yellow Star icon in each reply.

You can give:

1 - 10 pointer (solves problem, marks as answered)

2 - 6 pointers (very helpful)

Lots of 2 pointers (helpful)

Cheers!

Linda (and Mark Finnern)

Actually I'm not sure! (I have never posted a question yet) I believe that you can click a star next to the responses? And you can also mark the question as answered for other users who may search the forum with the same question.

Cheers

I've been looking around also in the FAQ but I can't find any info on assigning points.

Sorry

How do I assign points to users?

Hi,

in addition to what Daniel suggested, you could have a look at this post, which provides more details about the relation between kernel patch level and corresponding SP version:

Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot.

It's an SP3... better patch it 🐵

Hi Jacob,

One way is to: Log into Visual Administrator> On the cluster tab select “Server”. In the right hand side screen you will see your Kernel Version.

For a more detailed view Expand the Services tree> go to Monitoring> In the right hand window expand the “System” item> Then click “System Properties”.

Here you will see a detailed view along with some other goodies.

Let me know if you need further detail.

Please assign points if this helps.

Cheers

Daniel
