Santosh,

Importing RFC and IDOC's from the R3 system requires different authorizations . test Connection checks only for connection and not user crentials.

Can you tell us what you are trying? Importing IDOCs into IR or importing IDOC metadat in IDX2?

Bhavesh

Hi Bhavesh,

I'm able to import the metadata from idx2. What i'm doing is i'm trying to import SAP objects from imported objects tab in the integration repository.

I have the authorization object SAP_ALL for me in SAP.

Can you please update me.

Santhosh,

Just make sure that the details entered in your SWCV for the R3 system is correct and the Import of RFC and IDOC is enabled.

Hi bhavesh,

I checked them. All are correct.

do you know what is the authorization object required for rfc user?

tell me if there are any possibilities...

Hi Santosh,

SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER should be sufficient to assign this role to your user. However you have to make sure that the profile for the role has been generated.

Santhosh,

if you have given SAP_ALL , i dont think there should any problem as such.

Like mentioned, SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER shpuld actually be sufficient.

Hi Santhosh,

Is function module DD_DOMA_GET remote enabled. Please change the DD_DOMA_GET to remote-enable.

Then Try to import the objects in your Integration

Repository.

Please also have a look at SAP Note 718320

Hope this solves your problem.

Hi praveen,

Thanks a lot for that answer.

I checked it, it is not remote emabled. As of now i dont have permissions to change that module. Do you know where this module gets called.

Hi Santhosh,

It is a basis component and therefore you will not have permission to operate. You may ask your basis consultant to refer to the note and follow the steps.

The function module DD_DOMA_GET is actually called internally. But when you enable this function module, the import of object works.

Hi praveen,

that FM should be remote enabled in SAP or in XI system?

because in my XI system it's remote enabled and in SAP R/3 it is local.

I have had this problem before. I fixed it by giving the passwd in uppercase.
