Failed to connect SAP Add-in.Falscher parameter

Hello,

I want to install the Portal development Kit.

I always get this error when i am opening the VS.Net IDE

(Prof and Enterprise) on every Machine. After the Message the SAP-Toolbar is empty. Any help?

Some questions -

What error do you get exactly?

What PDK version did you install?

What is your OS and what language is it? (English..?)

Are you running VS 2003? What language is it (English)?

I get exactly the Error "Failed to connect SAP Add-in.Falscher parameter" after opening the VS.NEt IDE and the checkbox for this addin is activated. I installed the actual PDK Version 1.0 with the Patch, OS-System Winxp German, The error occurs on VS.NET Prof German and VS.Net Enterprise German on several machines.

Hi,

Sadly I have to tell you that it seems like your problem is caused by a known bug of PDK Patch 1 (that it doesn't work with a Visual Studio which isn't English).

I'd recommend that you try it again with an English version of VS.

Hopefully this bug will be fixed in the near future.

Try to install The PDK Patch 2 which is now available, it should solve this problem.

Try this command:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7\vcpackages\csproj.dll"

(correct path if necessary).

No, still no success! I registered all .dlls in

C:\Programme\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7\vcpackages
