When I try to launch the SQL Editor, the following
exception is thrown. Warning 2011: You are not
authorized to use this functionality.
The user has been assigned to the VCRole.

If you are using the JDBC connector to access data from relational sys-tems, the SQL Editor offers the liberty to create any SQL statement and execute it against the JDBC source. Before the SQL-Editor can be used, it has to be turned on. You have to know that certain security risks are intrinsic for this feature and as default setting this functionality is turned off. The same is true for the MDX Editor. To turn this functionality on, the administrator has to set the property vc.bi.sqlEditorEnabled in the Visual Administrator (the administration UI for the J2EE Server) to true. Once this has been done, the SQL Editor and SQL field in the input port become visible.
