problem with rfc sender

I try send one RFC of system sap to XI. In sm59 I make one destination RFC of type T.

In program id i put one name ejemp PRUEBA.

In host gateway i put the name of machine that send the rfc

In service rfc i put sapgwXX and XX is id of system.

In XI in the adapter i put the same information.

When i make the test conection form sap R3 to XI i received the message " program PRUEBA not registered / CPI-C error CM_ALLOCATE_FAILURE_RETRY".

If i change the name of program id and i put one program id registered in the system, the test it's sucessfully.

Is necesary have a one program id registered in the system?

how i can register one program id in the system?

thank you very much for all.

hi Antonio,

when you create RFC dest in R3

make sure you select:

Register Server program button

as it's not selected by default

michal

Silly question,

did you activate your sender adapter?

It will work as the registering system.

It seems that the system did not register successfully. Also, check communication channel status on communication channel monitoring.

Henrique.

HI,

Yes, it is required to register the program id.

For this refer very good blog -/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/29/configuring-the-sender-rfc-adapter--step-by-step

Hav a look into this SAP note for the error analysis- 768452
