Web Dynpro IGS configuration

Hello community,

i am facing a problem with the business graphics. Everything i try to run my project (tutorial) i get the "graphics rendering problem". After searching the web and sdn site i fixed up the address of the igs in my visual admin and as well in my project. So what is missing? do i have to install the igs first (i assume the igs is already installed when using NetWeaver 2004s)

check whether your igs is installed by accessing the following url:

http://<hostname>:4<instance number>80

J2E instance number is usually 00 or 01, it depends what you have put during your installation.

If you are able to access, then you have IGS installed. Also make sure after your configuration in Visual Administrator for IGS, you restart the J2EE server.

In fact, there is a configuration document for IGS available in SDN. Just do a quick search for that as well.

Thank you, this really hepled me. Ok actually i double checked all my values and found a mistake. but everything is up and running now!
