IDES instalation Guidel 4.7x200 SR1

Hi,

I want to install IDES SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70, with Extension Set 2.00, SR1 on AIX.

I wonder i couldn’t able to find any Installation document for the same.

If there's anyone who know the documents / has experience in IDES installalation (especially v. 4.7x200SR1)?

Kindly help me.

there is no separate guide for IDES version . i think SAP stopped IDEC guides since 4.7ee

Hi,

Welcome to SDN!!

Please go to http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP

Components -> SAP R/3 Enterprise -> 470x200 SR1.

Here you can find the installation guides for UNIX.

IDES installation is the same as a DB Instance Installation

You just need to to give the path for IDES DVDs during

the installation. There are no special steps for this.

Clearing my doubt, you mean to say that Non IDES installation and IDES installation both are same only i require to dump the DVDs.

Kindly clear my point so that i will reward points to you.

Hi AK,

I think he means that the type of installation is the same as a regular DB installation no extra steps required, just give the correct path to the IDES DVD during the installation.
