Where do find the documentation or recommendations for cleaning up old logs, etc. in the j2ee directories on a Solaris system? We have 4 different 700 systems that all exhibit the same behavior--the j2ee file system fills up and there is no space left on the volume. We would like some recommendation on which files we can remove and what we should script to keep our 8gb /usr/sap/ volume lean. Where is the documentation on maintaining the OS system of a dual stack instance. There don't appear to be any jobs that will remove files/cleanup after patching the java portion of the system...Any guidance would be appreciated.... We have been successful with removing files and have not damaged the system yet but this is becoming a nuisance.
You can delete old logs from these dir's:
/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<>/j2ee/JSPM/tmp
/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<>/j2ee/JSPM/log
/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<>/SDM/program/log
