If the field of one table depends on the field of other table then in that case we have to use look up table. While creating the table you have an option called type. you can use this to create lookup table.

I downloaded MDM from SAP site and ai also have lookupmap file. So could you say to which table should i link this file? Main table?
are you refering to the various MAP files you have in Business_content..
If answer = 'no'.
Write 'Please clarify'.

These MAP files can be used and are very handy when transfering the contents in Import Manager for Look up tables from R/3 to MDM.
Thats where you give a path of these map files.
