Hello,
the new unit-test framework 'ABAP Unit' came to our attention. As far as we know it is only available in Release 6.40. But an upgrade to this version in our company is not likely to happen in the next maybe 4 to 5 years. Nevertheless we would like to incorporate unit-tests on the basis of 'ABAP Unit' into our testing concept.
So is there any possibility to integrate 'ABAP Unit' into Release 6.20 ?

ABAP Unit has ties to the kernel therefore it is not possible to use it in release 620.

there may be another solution. the german company OFFIS created their own unit-test-framework, which should run on all R/3 systems supporting ABAP objects 4.6. the framework is licensed with a MIT license.
I'm waiting for a reply, since you can only get the source on request by email.
