Picture "loading_ani.gif" for loading a page in Web Dynpro application

I have a webdynpro application which uses Interactive forms or have views which displays data retrieved from R/3.

It takes time for the displaying of the screens, so I would like to enable the loading_ani.gif in that case.

Such that the user is aware of some processing is going on.

Please guide me how to implement the gif file for my page when loading.

Hi,

the loading animation should automatically be displayed i.e. when an interactive form is loading.

But my problem is that I am not getting that Page loading cursor by default when the interactive form is loading.

Lets talk generally what is the way to get that cursor for any other scenario also.

That is not straight forward....you have to use timed trigger UI to get this animation programmatically. Some time ago there was a workaround here at SDN forum (unfortunately no technical description how to implement it):
