I've encountered a problem with DB2 while using XI.

IBM suggest that I should use IBM JDK instead of general JDK.

Can anyone give some articles or links that about how to replace the exsitent JDK with IBM JDK?

thanks

Hi YiNing,

read note 718901, there's the information you need in order to change the JDK of the J2EE engine.

Hello Mao,

As per SAP Note Number 861215 SUN JRE is not supported on 64 Bit Linux server, bootstrap processes will die when trying to start.

Download the special "JDK 1.4.2 for SAP Customers" from:

https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/preLogin.do?source=javasap

IBM Java 1.4.2 for SAP Customers (IBMJava2-AMD64-142-SDK-1.4.2-2.0.x86_64.rpm )

Please try this.

Prem

Pascal & Premkishan, actually we are using AIX as the XI server, but your link is still very helpful, I'll test them tomorrow.

Thanks:)
