Idoc partner type KU

hello all,

i have configured all the necessary things to transfer idoc from my r/3 system to XI. and also i can find my idoc XML in monitor, the partner type for the idoc sent is KU.

what are all the different objects i need to create in my configuration.

1. i tried using sender system as my r/3 under bussiness system

2. what should be my receiver system, is it a third party system or i have to create a service under bussiness service and a communication channel using file adapter under it.

3. i read that we need to create party if we are using partner type as KU.

4. but scenario is not a B2B scenario, i just need to send a idoc to r/3 do some necessary mapping and store it in a file in xi.

I am very confused.

Hi Raju,

It is not required to create a party if ur Partner profile is of type KU.

Is ur scenario an Idoc to file scenario? In that case, ur sender will be a business system. You can create a business service for the receiving the file and a file receiver channel. If it is an Idoc to idoc scenario, u have to use the business system for that. In either case you dont have to create an Idoc sender channel.
