mysap client on win98 os

Hi Dears,

We are able to install mysap client on win xp os. Can we install mysap client on win98 os also ?

Pls provide the option/steps.

Hi,

I think the other post covers the support issue. If you happen to have an older SAPGUI (6.20 or prior), it can be installed on windows 98.

Just be careful as there are dependencies between the application and the frontend release (i.e. you can't use SAPGUI for Windows 6.20 for mySAP ERP 2005).

You can find the compability and requirements list in service.sap.com/pam.

unfortunately it's not supported anymore.

Here's the OS list for the SAPGUI client which are not supported anymore:

De-support of operating system Windows 98 January 15th, 2004

End of 'Post Mortem QA' (platform still covered by QA tests) Windows NT 4.0 June 30, 2004

End of 'Post Mortem QA' (platform still covered by QA tests) Windows 98 December 31, 2004

Limited support during "Extended phase" Windows 2000 June 30, 2005

Limited support during "Extended phase" Windows XP June 30, 2008
