I have a problem with popup window, I'm using NW Studio 7.0.06 on a EP 7 SP 8.
The problem:
Create a DC WebDynpro which pop up another window.
Deploy & Run, it works fine.
Now create an iView based on this iView, the popup is not working... The popup window is showed but the calling window disappear....
Oh ok, I thought Tutorial are available with the Portal, don't need to deploy them.

Could you please check if the WebDynpro Application:
local/TutWD_Popup works fine (show a popup and doesn't hide the calling view)
You will find it in:
-> Content Administration
-> WebDynpro
-> Deployed Content
-> local
-> local/TutWD_Popup
Thanks a lot!

Thank you for your help,
I will post the response when I'll have it.
Do you have EP 7 ?

I've already tested both Templates and I also tested to put the WebDynpro iView in a Page Proxy WebDynpro and a normal page.

What do you mean by template?
I developed a specific application that display a pop up.
I tried the example in the WebDynpro menu of the EP 7.
And I saw that the example doesn't show the popup correctly....
I'v opened a OSS Notes.

Rachid,
There are two different iViews that can be used for a Web Dynpro application. The first is an older iView template (where you pick WebDynpro from a list of a lot of different types) and the second is the newer iView where the Web Dynpro application is more integrated into the portal (and the WD app needs to be deployed onto the portal server). The second iView type is available from the first iView setup wizard screen. It might make a difference on how pop-ups are handled depending on the type of iView you are using.

Which type of iView are you using? Is it the older template one or the new WebDynpro Application iView?
