Hi experts,

and after some time i deleted that profile which i newly

created.

after restarting the server and next time when i logging

any one can give the solution to me?

its very urgent.

Hi peter,

how to check in the profile directory FOR ANY OLDER VERSIONS EXISTS OR NOT?

there is a directory

\usr\sap\<SAPSID>\sys\profile

on the drive containing the SAP directory structure.

Compare the files in there. I would expect to see some similar named files, compare their time stamps and contents.

\usr\sap\<SAPSID>\sys\profile .

pls check the file modify time carefully , maybe useful

Hi Vinoth,

This seems to be a licensing problem, HW ID must be the Hardware key, go to transaction SLICENSE and check that the harware key is correct.

The last time i saw this problem the hardware key was not showing on this transaction.

Hi subash,

sever itself is not running properly.

In the process list.

in the dispatcher - it is showing the status

'running but not connected to message server'.

i think when i deleted that profile parameters whcih i created some files in some path relating to message server is removed .

do u have any idea how to recover this problem?

thanks in advance.

very easy: backup/restore.

have a look at the profile directory if there are older versions of the profiles.

well, check you profile changes (hopefully you have a backup).

It looks like the system is misconfigured and for example not able to contact the message server. (see \usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGSxx\work dev_ms, dev_disp etc.
