A customer has some dependencies set for the naming of the MSCS cluster groups. We followed the standard guide "Installing and Configuring a Standalone Java 6.40 SR1 System on Windows with MSCS: MS SQL Server" and we have been running for a few months just fine. This dependency just failed one of the cluster groups because the name was not a standard... (but anyway).
Now they have requested to rename some of the "cluster groups" and would like to know if this is possible.
They would keep the dependencies as in the guide but change the name of the cluster groups.
Is this possible or are there other dependencies from the SAP side. I know that it can be done at the OS side but will this have a bad affect on the WebAS Java?
If anyone knows or had done this, please reply and let me know.
