Hi ,
Is there any way to automate/push the SUP workflow settings to the BlackBerry device instead of user entering manually?
Regards,
Praveen Kumar P
This is possible with the latest version of the Hybrid Web Container
The current version of Afaria is required. I think they added the support for the libraries in HF 5 of the current release. Basically the libraries when used in an application will call Afaria to pass the configuration info (text, binary or file) to the app for consumption as the developer see's fit.
The HWC clientt calls the Afaria client to connect so the Afaria client has to be installed

Thank you Praveen,
This is what I suspected and the reason why I stressed on if you really used AFARIA 6.6 to do this from your earlier post (following):
"Hi Shival,
I was able to push SUP workflow setting automatically using afaria 6.6 itself.
The automatic setting push will work for only on SUP 2.1.

Praveen Kumar P"
For community reader's reference, you did NOT use Afaria 6.6 to push SUP Workflow setting automatically. The YouTube video is a known procedure from SUP and can be done on individual devices using SUP to move connection settings. This, however, does not involve Afaria at all.
The InforCenter link basically gives you a procedure to provision applications where Afaria is NOT used. Following is taken from the infocenter link that you posted in your following message:

In environments where Afaria is not used for mobile device management, you can use a configuration file to provision the device application on BlackBerry, Android devices, or Windows Mobile or Win32 devices. iOS clients cannot be manually provisioned in this manner, as the application sandbox is not accessible.

Just making sure that the readers don't get confused here as to usage of Afaria 6.6 to accomplish what you were trying to originally.

Shival
