Reversal of UD

Dear Friends,

Client scenario is that they have some quality passed raw materials in unrestricted use stock with inspection type 01.

But they are replacing that material with new characteristics from suppliers.

How to map this scenario, however it is not possible of UD reversal in SAP?

Is there any other method?

Hi,

If you want to reinspect this material then you can activate 08 inspection in material master and then do a transfer posting of 322 movement so that the lot will come to quality then you can inspect the material and take UD.

Reversal of UD is possible. You need to apply SAP note 175842.

I wants to know how to replace existing raw material with new one.

How to cancle quality inspection lot?

Dear,

If UD is reverse then cancel the GRN. lot will be canceled automatically.

After this you have to change your inspection plan or create new one with new inspection characteriastics and assign it with material.

New charactresistics will come in your inspection lot.

Once the lot is reversed the quantity ll come to quality. Then you cancel the GR document so that the lot ll get cancelled automatically. Then do a fresh GR for the material .
