Anyone know why they have changed the layout of this file and what has become of the OUTERJOINS_GENERATION parameter that was available in XI3.1?

Data access guide documentation is limited.

Hi,

Check out Note 1667532 - Creating joins using a drag and drop workflow in information design tool 4.0 Patch 1.4 or later incorrectly generates 'outer joins' instead of regular 'inner' joins

which has some information about a related defect fixed recently.

Also 1650909 - Cannot find the parameters DATABASE_DATE_FORMAT and USER_INPUT_DATE_FORMAT in the PRM file

and 1643025 - ANSI92 parameter is ignored in Universe Designer Tool 4.0.

Many thanks Henry exactly what I was looking for. I did previously search the SAP notes but it was for the .prm file extension rather than the xml. Note to myself for next time.
