Can any one explain simply? What is the purpose of this?

In simple words DMR is define the Inspection stages which help to change the quality level.

Means you can skip certain nspection lots once certain conditions are satisfied.

So we define stages & number of inspection lots in the DMR .

for example say you want to inspect 5 & skip 5.

In QDR1--->select " DMR @ lot level.

stage 10 > click on insp stage, Severity 04

stage 20 > tick on skip

stage 10

no. of insp : 5 ( say depend upon situation)

new insp stage : 20

rej : 1

new insp stage : 10

stage 20

no. of skip : 5

new insp stage : 10

reset period : 30

rej : 1

new insp stage : 10

Enter this data & Use this DMR in the inspection plan @ header .

Hi Ganesh,

This is to change the scope of inspection dynamically based on the results for last inspection. More simplest form is when you dont have severity level in sampling scheme. Then you can define like you want to do the inspection once in 5 lots but if any lot is rejected you want to inpect the next lot also. So you can define a dynamic modification rule as

Stage 1- Inspection severity 004 (As per sampling scheme) Initial is ticked no of inspection 1 new stage 2 rehections - 1 new stage 1

Stage 2 - Inspection severity Skip is ticked no of inspection 5 new stage 1 rehections - 1 new stage 1

Initial stage is stage 1, If accepted the next lot ll be in stage 2 which is skip means sample size =0, it ll be in stage 2 for 5 lots (If all accpted) then it ll go to new stage 1. But in between if any lot rejected out of 5 means it will immidiately go to stage 1.
