Can negative forecast be configured to ZERO instead of minus value

Hi,

During forecast run, articles ended up with negative forecast values. This prevent the forecast from generating forecast value.

understand that negative forecast value can be reset to ZERO.

I am not sure if this refer to configuration or adding codes thru customer_exit.

Can any guru assist?

Hello,

Forecast values can be modified using enhancements (SMOD object) LM61W001 (Function Exit EXIT_SAPLM61W_001) and MM61W001 (Function exit EXIT_SAPMM61W_001). Since the interface parameters are common, you may build one common include for these function exits; one for batch and the other for online execution of forecast.

Not sure how forecast values become negative in your case.

Hi,

Not too sure also.

However, does notice that whenever this happened, the previous week forecast is in negative.

So, i suspect if there are more than 2 weeks of negative consumption, and the trend is downwards, it will not continue to perform the forecast and no replensihment is possible.
