I have downloaded the SAP GUI 720 and when I launch the logon pad it does not fully display. It is mainly blacked out and I am unable to use it. Can any one help me with this issue?

Had trouble like that several years ago. Usually video driver related. Are you on WinXP or Win7?

Hi,

This is the first time hearing about this.

Most of the times you have the PC with all required drivers.

Try adding a new connection or try run-> sapgui hostname 00 where 00 will be your instance number.

When i installed GUI for the first time, it was minimized, so I had to drag and expand it.

Thanks

Larry,

Have you tried reinstalling MSXML4.0 SP3 from the Microsoft website?

It does sound like what Jude suggested above. To add to his response, the MSI can also be found on the SAP GUI installation CD under:

NW_7.0_Presentation \ PRES1 \ GUI \ WINDOWS \ WIN32 \ system \ msxml4.msi

Zecher
