Downloading & Uploading Jar files from SAP XI AL11 directory

Hi XI experts,

We found jars [UNIX OS] deployed in Adapter module in the below path:-

XXX is the instance name.

YYYYBean is my adapter module

/usr/sap/XXX/DVEBMGS70/j2ee/cluster/apps/sap.com/YYYYBeanEAR

/usr/sap/XXX/DVEBMGS70/j2ee/cluster/apps/sap.com/YYYYBeanEAR/EJBContainer/applicationjars/YYYYBean.jar

Right now as we do not have JSPM, For testing purposes, I am using transaction sxda_tools to download & upload files. But I can handle only txt files using this transaction & not able to upload/download JAR files. It throws codepage error.

When I view these jars in al11, there are ## characters.So this might be the reason.

let me know if any there are any alternatives.

Hi,

there are many ready to use ABAP reports on SDN for donwloading/uploading files to server

please do a search for use any of them - it will work with binary files too
