Object link senario

Dear sir,

We have below case.Please Help ASAP.

A scenario, a document say contract.doc is uploaded onto the system and is linked with a PO (Purchase order), for this document a new version is created. Now when a user opens this specific PO, he is able to see the linked document, the question is whether he would be able to see both the documents or the earlier / first linked document. Secondly since the version change happened to a document which is linked to a PO it is actually a PO Amendment, so how the system would tell us that PO Amendment has happened?

Is there any way to get details for below query

Dear Rahulsandy,

Whatever you have specified as requirement is tricky. Let me tell you how.

You cannot link DIR to Purchase order. You can link DIR to Materials which needs to be procured and mentioned as line items in PO.

So if you link a created DIR say SPE/100000190/000/00 to PO/100029/01 item you will be able to see DIR from PO screen.

If you link DIR say SPE/100000190/000/01 to PO/100029/01 item same will be visible in PO screen.

How to see DIR linked in PO.

First link DIR to PO line item in DIR> Object link Tab for PO.

GO to PO line item and select it and then click U-pin Icon in Item overview section in section below.

A pop up window appear where you will be able to all version of DIR linked to PO line Item.
